Brummagem Draft (Drafting and Planning)

Here is my first draft on Brummagem, i have used a picture of the Bullring Bull as the cover-star as it is a famous landscape in the city. The Bull only occasionally has clothing on therefore having the union jack on deserves an article.

Viewers that see the heading 'Bulls New Union jack-et' and wonder why does the Bull have it on? Does it mark a special occasion? Is it simply for show? Who designed the jacket and where? etc.          The background features blue splatters on the left and red on the right, this is just to relate the union jacket on the bull and further links to the main heading which is about the jacket the Bull is wearing. The masthead font is in 'Olde English' and i believe this was appropriate because the name of the magazine 'Brummagem' is ancient; Also Birmingham was found in the 1400 century. You may see the quote 'good old' under the masthead and this was because it reminds me of a song based on the city and 'Good old Brummagem' also good old is an appropriate word to use when selling a magazine.

To improve Change heading fonts, which is way to basic and also the pug is not eye drawing; the font in it is way to small to be effective and being in black is not going to make it eye-catching either, blue or green would have been more appropriate as long as it fills most of the circle.
